When Kim Kamo’s friend challenged her and a few friends to set up walls in different countries on the same day, she knew it would take some work and that asking for help would be a little scary. “But I was excited to see what would happen, so I decided to just do it,” she said. She created her wall from cardboard and at sunrise, she and a few friends installed it in a waterfront park called The Strand. They spent the rest of the day on the beach observing people’s responses. “Some would stop to read it. Others would rush up to it and immediately scribble something down. Then others would think about it for a long time before writing something.” As for Kim, she thought about it for a long time before realizing, “What I really want to do before I die is to take care of my parents the way they took care of their parents in their old age, and the way they took care of me as a baby. I want to do the same thing for them.”

I want to see where my grandma grew up.
I want to go to the stars.
I want to swim with manatees.
I want to care for my parents in their old age as lovingly as they cared for theirs.
I want to win the biggest trophy in the whole wide world.
I want to explore the deep ocean.
I want to live a life without regrets.
I want to make a difference in someone else's life.
I want to stop animal cruelty .
I want to show my true colours .
I want to be on a boat in the middle of the ocean .
