San Francisco, California
In the heart of San Francisco’s downtown district, Candy stenciled a freestanding wall in front of the giant Moscone Center while boys offered free pedicab rides to passersby. As part of the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, the wall collected a lot of green-minded hopes, from “write my book on climate change” to “witness our transition to full renewable energy.” Other people shared more emotional goals, from “finalize my divorce” to “stop being afraid.” Within an hour the wall was crammed and colorful.
I want to enjoy waking up early.
I want to teach my sister how to surf.
I want to quit worrying about money.
I want to go fishing a million times.
I want to ride a wave with my daughter.
I want to find what I'm looking for.
I want to influence my company to be a force of love.
I want to finalize my divorce.
I want to taste all the fruit there is.
I want to beat breast cancer.
I want to make sure he knows how much he means to me.
I want to reach my potential.
I want to be a good parent.
I want to actually pursue my dreams.
I want to see my sons graduate college.
I want to stop drinking.
I want to raise kids who care .
I want to stop animal cruelty.
I want to speak Spanish.
I want to find a way to stop hurting from his lies.
